Welcome to the *first post* of Ole Money! My name is Jess, and I’m a 22-year-old with a whole lotta questions about life: money, food, NYC, travel, you name it. I’m starting this blog to share some of the knowledge and experiences I’ve picked up along the way.

I live in NYC, the city of dreams and $30 brunch. I graduated from college in 2021, and I’ve been working at an investment firm for the past couple of years. This isn’t my first rodeo blogging; when I was 10 years old, I had a cooking channel on YouTube called “The Wanganator Show” where I made homemade Nutella cookies and Rice Krispie treats. The main point is, I’ve always loved sharing my ideas, experiences, and knowledge with others, and I thought this would be a great place to start.

Things I hope this blog will cover:

  • Investing (I’m not an expert and this is not professional advice, just things I’ve tried/heard/read about)
  • Saving tips
  • Budgeting
  • Stories about others’ experiences with money
  • Travel experiences that are worth it
  • NYC food reviews
  • Thoughts about new trends

There’s a lot coming up on the horizon, so stay tuned!
